On battles

Happy Friday, beautiful people. A short post today - I’m happy to report that as of yesterday - with her surgery behind her, the commencement and completion of her fourth of six chemo sessions, and blood cancer levels down form 4000 to 7 - we can well and truly consider my mother’s battle with ovarian cancer more than halfway over.

I spent some time visiting with she, my father, and my sister yesterday evening, the four of us sitting in a circle in the very room that we all confronted the beginning of this challenge four and half months ago. The energy was palpably different from that Friday evening when we were all shell-shocked.

We are all feeling grateful and hopeful; and I am so thankful for the energy that has been directed towards her and my family.

All life on this planet has an innate drive to thrive and it’s truly humbling to experience people sharing some of their energy to help us fight through this challenge.

Be well.
